Cruisin' Chick Posted January 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2008 If you driving directly to the Port of LA, there is a large parking lot at $12/day. You exit the Harbor Freeway at Harbor Blvd., staying in the center lane. Drive across Harbor Blvd right into the entrance of the World Cruise Center (you'll probably see the cruiseships in the distance :) ). Just follow the other cars and taxis past the guard gate and you'll see a sign listing the cruiseships and which berths they're at. Drive up to your berth and you can unload your passengers and luggage right there. Then you drive back down into the parking lot and park. It's an easy walk back up or you can jump on the free shuttle.
Splinter Posted January 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2008 Here is the port webpage that discusses directions and parking. http://www.sanpedro.com/spcom/crusshp.htm The most popular hotel for a cruise and park package is the Crown Plaza. Make reservations early as it is often sold out for popular cruise dates.
victory2020 Posted January 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2008 I hear the Doubletree in San Perdo has a cruise/park deal. It's about $189 a night & for the 15 day cruise you will spend that in parking at the pier. They have a shuttle.
