Brooklyn - Red Hook parking question

We are cruising out of Brooklyn next month and are wondering about the parking. Are there plenty of spaces? What time would be good to arrive? We're thinking between those departing and the lot filling back up. We are driving from CT. Thanks.

FYI

Parking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is on the south side of the terminal entrance overlooking the Statue of Liberty.

Parking at the Cruise Terminal is a revolving system. The ships arrive between 7:00am–8:00am, and passengers who have parked at the terminal are often finished with customs and off the property by 10:00am–10:30am, freeing up parking spaces.

On-site Parking is open, and the Porters are available by 9:00am. Most vehicle traffic at the terminal is from buses, shuttle service, taxis, drop-off, and pick-up.

The height restriction on personal vehicles for rooftop parking is eight (8) feet. There are spaces to park RVs, buses, and larger vehicles on the main level of the terminal near the Security Main gate.

If you have any further questions, please call 212-641-4441, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

It looks like someone maintaining the nycruise.com website may have pulled some wording from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal's parking web page and copied it to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal's web page. Unless some new structure has been built, there's no rooftop parking at the Brooklyn Terminal. It's a parking lot. Rooftop parking is only at the Manhattan terminal. I think the problem arises from operations of Brooklyn being taken over recently by Ports America, which has only operated Manhattan until being named operator of both earlier this year. https://www.nycedc.com/press-release/nycedc-announces-single-operator-and-385-million-capital-improvements-manhattan-and-0

In any event, to answer the OP's question, there's normally plenty of parking available (at both ), and as the confused and confusing web page says, 10 to 10:30 is a good time to arrive (at either) .
