Venice to Dolomites - Day Trip

We are a group of 5 women who will be staying in Venice 5 days per-cruise. we'd like to take a day trip to see the Dolomites. but want to take a private tour. I realize we could rent a car or take a train, but we would prefer a van with a driver who can explain what we're seeing. Does anyone know of a company that offers a guided tour from Venice?

I don't have any personal knowledge on these, but by doing a Google search on "dolomites tour from venice", several small-group tour options show up. The one from Viator has a 4.5 rating out of five and 200 reviews. But be aware that Viator is a re-seller of sorts for tours. They will arrange it and you pay them, but they then subcontract the work to a local service provider. But I've used them a couple times with no issues. But there are others to look into as well.

I'd suggest posting your question on the venice forum of tripadvisor. It is more geared towards land travel. There are several locals on that forum, and people who visit Venice frequently; they might be able to answer your question.
