How to kill 4 hours b/w POM and FLL with kids?

We will likely be off our cruise by about 9:30ish. We fly out of FLL around 3:30ish. We have 4 young kids. I hate waiting at airports with kids, especially FLL b/c it's sooooo boring there.

Any suggestions on ways to kill time that don't cost a fortune?

We could rent a car but it will be costly as we have 10 people and we have to pay a fee to pick it up at POM and drop it at FLL.

We could use taxis or shuttles.

Ideas??? Also, how would you get around to those ideas?

Cabs will be much more expensive that renting a couple of cars.

Rent a car and head to Arubas in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea for lunch. It is literally on the beach, the food is good, and you can have a long, leisurely lunch/brunch before you leave.

Most rental companies in Florida don't charge drop off fees. If you find one that does, pick another company.

SAS will cost us $130 for the shuttle. Rental cars right now are quite high, but I know the prices go down closer to and I will find discount codes, but I need one that doesn't charge to drop at FLL as we fly out of there. Also we still need to find something to do in between for several hours.
