Bora Bora and Moorea overnights

For the overnight stops in Bora Bora and Moorea, are we free to come and go from the ship at night as we please? How often do they run the tenders at night? Is there a time when they stop running them? We might want to take a sunset catamaran and have dinner on the islands but we would need a way to get back and forth from the ship!

I am interested in this as well. I also want to know what is recommended for the overnights in Bora Bora, Moorea, and final overnight in Papeete.

My thoughts:

Bora Bora- Bloody Mary's visit in the evening

Moorea: ??? is there anything to do here at night

Papeete: Isn't there a lot of shopping and entertainment close to pier?

They do have a time when they stop running tenders. If you are planning to stay out late just discuss this with the ship and they will arrange for a late tender. I recall that they used to actually pick people from the Bloody Mary dock in the past.

Papeete ...when the ship is docked you should have no problem leaving to go out. Again just advise so port security will be there to let you in dockside.

We returned from Heiva at midnight and had no problem returning.
