crazy4themouse Posted April 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 18, 2012 Construction is coming along nicely -- every time we're on the Seawall we're amazed at how much they've progressed with everything. bdkb Posted April 27, 2012 #7 Share Posted April 27, 2012 will the pier be open year round? Thinking of going on Carnival Magic next Easter and wonder if the pier will be open at the end of March. I've never been to Galveston so I don't know what the weather is like.

Galveston Cruiser Posted April 30, 2012 #9 Share Posted April 30, 2012 The Galveston Pleasure Pier will be open year around. The weather in March/April can be comfortable to hot! This year we had very warm weather early, then it cooled down, now it is inching up in the 80's with higher humidity.

crazy4themouse Posted May 20, 2012 #18 Share Posted May 20, 2012 Was at Palm Beach today and my son & I drove back down the seawall to check out the progress at the Pleasure Pier. Looking good!! There were a TON of people working on all of it. Here are a few pics I snapped: The Galaxy Wheel & the Iron Shark are coming along very nicely: They had the water going on Pirate's Plunge and were testing a few boats:
