Taxi availability/prices at Reykjavik cruise dock

We are docking in Reykjavik on July 5, 2015 at 1:15pm. I am hoping to head to the Blue Lagoon and then walk around the city (or vice versa depending on the weather etc.) for the evening. We do not depart until 4:45 the next day, and I already have a full day tour planned.

Are taxis readily available at the cruise dock? About how much to get to the Blue Lagoon? Are taxis readily available at the Blue Lagoon too?

Can you really walk to the city center in 15 minutes or so? Or how much for a taxi? What about from downtown to the port?

Do taxis take credit cards?

Can't tell you availability, but a taxi from Reykjavik to the airport is $100 or more (each way). Probably less expensive to rent a car for your time there.

15-20 minute walk to town, there are also easy to organize, scheduled buses to/from the city to the Blue Lagoon

Rip-off prices as you can see. We rented a car and did all the tours under our own steam.
