Cave tubing shoes

I have read that you can not wear flip flops while making the trek to the river for tubing. Will Keens be OK for the kids and I to wear?

I hope so because Keens are what I was planning to wear.

Best shoes for cave-tubing are old sneakers. Once you're out of the water and back at the parking lot, you can leave them there and the folks at the park will clean them up and donate them to locals. :) Bring your flips or spare pair of shoes with you for after tubing.

We have seen plenty of people wearing Keens when cave tubing. They should work well since they have the harder sole on the bottom. We have always used water shoes with no problems too. :)

Basically anything fully attached to your foot is what you want. flip flops can slip off causing you to hurt yourself. Keens will be perfect!
