Yes you can bring both on princess. However princess sells a 12 bottle water pack for $6.90 so it really is not worth carrying that on. You must order it in advance but it will be in your room when you arrive. Our steward had already put 3-4 bottles in the fridge before we got to the room. Canned soft drinks are $2.00 a can with not all flavor available, so if you have a specific favorite that might be worthwhile.

Yes, you can bring as much bottled water and soda as you want onto Princess ships. We just bring a water bottle and keep refilling it as needed.

You can't but it's not needed. The desalinated water is better then most bottled water anyway. Why lug extra heavy cumbersome stuff around?
