First time having a balcony. Do they have locks and what about the dividers that divide the balconies are they secured in place, do they have locks? Just curious as to whether we need to be concerned about someone getting into our cabin via the balcony.

The door to the balcony has a lock. Unless the cabin steward unlocks the balcony divider (after checking with both cabins) the dividers are secure.

I guess someone could climb over the railing but that is highly unlikely to happen.

Yes, they have locks. Depending on the ship the dividers are solid, or locked in place. The latter can be opened if you request it.

No, no reason to be concerned. Unless of course James Bond happens to be on your cruise.
