Trenitalia vs. Italo Trains

Any thoughts? Have used Trenitalia a lot but next trip Italo trains will work for me schedule/city wise. Thanks.

Similar service, trains, etc. For me it all comes down to which has the better price/time combination.

We will be trying both this summer. Trenitalia from Rome to Venice, then Italo from Venice to Florence. The Italo trains look nice...and the prices were a bit more competitive then Trenitalia.

I will be looking into Italo on my Naples to Rome trip and possibly one more. Won't work for me Milan to Rome as my hotel is by Milano Centrale

Don't be too sure; Italo's Porta Garibaldi station is really not very far from Milano Centrale. My wife and I are going next week, taking the Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale and then going to Porta Garibaldi for the trip to Rome because the Italo tickets were 1/3 the price Trenitalia was charging for a last-minute fare. I've taken trips on both Trenitalia and Italo, and really only prefer Trenitalia because of the option online to pick particular seats.
