Live4cruises Posted January 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2013 This is the first time that we are flying to Europe when the first arrival airport is not our destination. We arrive in Amsterdam, then continue to Prague. Does the process work the same way as it would in the US? Passport control, reclaim baggage, recheck and security? Thanks! Ine Posted January 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2013 No, your baggage will be tagged and transfered to your next plane, all the way to Prague. Most likely you will get both boardpasses when checking in. If not there are machines at Amsterrdam airport for the 2nd boardingpass or go to the special desk. Passportcontrol will be in Amsterdam, security at the gate before departure, customs is in Prague.
