Day before bag drop

Has anyone used the day before bag drop at BHX, or any airport for that matter, just wondering if anyone had good or bad experience with this.

It generally works OK at Gatwick except last time when I flew to Palma for Discovery. When we arrived at the ship they said give your medical declarations to the first desk, what declaration? Apparently they were handing them out at the check in back in Gatwick but had not done this for those using the day before bag drop :mad:

We have done it several times at Gatwick. The only problem we had was that once the suitcases were wet and it had gone through to some of our clothes. Otherwise no problems.

just checked and you cant do day before bag drop if travelling to Caribbean for a cruise (few other destinations too) this is due to luggage and medical screening.....

Any one know if you can drop your bags if your stay is the first week from bhx
