I asked this on my roll call and got no response, so....

We're staying in the Ft. Myers area and driving to Miami day of departure.

What is the better way? I-75 or hwy 41. We're getting a SunPass to make our way down FL.

Any info would be appreciated.

I-75 is usually the better way to go. Its two lanes in each direction straight road. US-41 is more of a scenic route, rural one lane in each direction. Get stuck behind a truck, you might not be able to pass for miles.

The speed limit on I-75 through Alligator Alley is 70mph. You can easily set cruise control at 80mph and you won't have an issue with state troopers. It is always best to set your google maps or waze app (google maps uses waze) to see which way is best. But unless there is some accident 75 is quicker and easier.
