Visa confusion in the uk

Help needed please

My wife and I are on Sojourn leaving Barcelona 19th November 2014 to Cape Town.

We are getting conflicting information from our TA and Seabourn UK and CIBT relating to required visas. Any UK passport holders that can help would be greatly appreciated

For correct advice go to the FCO section of http://www.gov.uk and check the various country listings for the places you are going in the alphabetical section. They will give you the visa and entry requirements as they apply to UK nationals or residents.

We were in South Africa last year so I have just checked our passports to see what

was stamped in them. We have a half-page stamp from their government and it is

called a Temporary Residence Permit which I obviously obtain from the S.A. Embassy

in London. We were on the ship for the whole trip and not seeking residence at any time.

Cape Town was the best port, we would love to return there.

No visa required in advance for uk passport holders to south africa. Just make sure you have an entire page free of your passport on arrival or you will be on the next plane home
