Taxi or Car Service in NOLA

We have an early flight after our VOS cruise. Are we better grabbing a taxi at the port or having a car service arranged ahead of time? Any recommendations on car service? I may just book RT. Thanks!

There will be cabs readily available when you disembark.

There are tons of taxi's (car and vans) lined up outside when you arrive. They all know when the ships come in are there to make that money. :)

I believe it took us about 30 min or less to get to the airport from the terminal. But, you can't really predict if that will be the case for you...depending on traffic or if there might be construction and so on. You just can not ever really tell.
