Ft.lauderdale cruise port to Ft. Lauderdale Airport

I know this question has been asked but I am having trouble searching for the answer. We've done this before using Ride SAS. I was just wondering if it would be cheaper and easier to use a cab for the transfer from the Ft. Lauderdale cruise port to FLL..

Yes, much easier to take a taxi. Around $15. Many taxis available, very little wait time.

Taxis from the cruise port to the airport are quite affordable as the airport is really only a couple blocks away. Last time we took a taxi (we usually get shuttles from the airport) it was $17.

I agree with Bob. Unless you are traveling solo, where the price would be about even, the cab will be cheaper and much less hassle. We just did this Saturday. From closing the door on our stateroom, to sitting in FLL, was just under an hour total.

Cabs are easiest, fastest and certainly more cost efficient for three or more. Shuttle I think is currently about 7-$8 per person. Cab anywhere from $12-15 depending on traffic for ride, not person.
