Beaches near dock?

Are there any beaches in walking distance from the cruise dock? We want to spend a short time on the beach but not spend more time to get there than we spend on the beach.?

Do a search here in the forum for Reflextions or Surfside. Depending upon how far you are willing to walk, it is doable. But your idea of a leisurely walk maybe different from mine. ;)

I've done walks from the low rise (Casa del Mar) to both downtown and the hi-rise. Six miles round trip. While the walk from the cruiseport is much shorter, it's not a leisurely walk especially carrying a beach bag and towels. Also, the Aruba heat will really hit you. Take a cab and have more beach time.

Taking a bus isn't bad either... $2.30 each way..

Driver was nice and dropped us off and told us what time they came.

Will drop you off at the bus station where there is so many stores and vendors..
