Millennium Class Deck 11 Cabin Noise?

Is there noise from the rooftop terrace that can be heard inside the cabins on deck 11?

We just got off Millie a week ago Saturday...in 1108...no noise from the terrace..not sure how much it was used ...as the weather was a bit "iffy"...friends in the aft staterooms said the could near noise from the movies...hope that helps??/ LuAnn

I could hear the movie from my balcony

We had 1138 for Alaska on Millie shortly after the rooftop area was installed. When on our balcony we could here some muted noise from the movies or music that they played - you also get the noise from the bar below. This didn't bother us and we didn't hear anything from inside our cabin. For me I would not chose those cabins on a warm weather cruise - where quiet enjoyment of the balcony is important to me.

Thank you for the responses. I was more concerned with noises being heard inside the cabin as we are in one of the few inside cabins on that deck.

I think you should be ok then...but I have read that some in those far aft cabins had some "shaking" going on during docking...we did not feel that in 1108. LuAnn

I should only feel the "shaking" twice then. I will be going on the Summit to Bermuda and only have to dock once in Bermuda and the second time back in Bayonne. This will be no issue to me as it will act as my alarm clock.

Thank you for this information. We booked an aft on Millennium while onboard and then changed to the port side. I think the Future Cruise Specialist thought we were crazy to give up the larger balcony, but we love the silent enjoyment of the balcony also!
