Repositioning cruises and crew contracts

I'm considering a cruise from the US to Europe in March/April and wondering if most/all of the crew on these sailings are ending their contracts on those dates.

Or are they just beginning?

Or is it a big mishmash of everyone?

The contract terms vary so there is not a turnover of crew all at the same time

Maybe 100 or so will leave & others replace them

I was hoping that was the case.

I can imagine that if everyone was ending their contract at the same time, they would all be "over it" together and the service might flag.
