One thing I did not know that I thought I would share, the night owls now closes at 1am.

Cruise giveaways at 130am and 230am so I was pretty disappointed about this change. I have been cruising with my children for 15 years. Always the night owls closed at 245am and later years ago.

One thing I did not know that I thought I would share, the night owls now closes at 1am.

 

Cruise giveaways at 130am and 230am so I was pretty disappointed about this change. I have been cruising with my children for 15 years. Always the night owls closed at 245am and later years ago.

How did the slot tourney turn out? Was it fun?

The excitement of dreaming of winning for so many months was fun. My DD and I both had seats and were knocked out the first day....so it was actually very disappointing to the point I wished for a day I hadn't came. But I got over it like I said, like a day later. Was hopeful to win some of the giveaways....but I came home empty handed. My dh didn't come and that was a LONG sailing without him....never doing one that long without him again ...

Curious to know why you thought it went later? Its been like this since 3-4 years now. (well since I started traveling with the grand daughter)

• Owl Jams – a night of high-energy fun that runs from 10 p.m. to midnight and aimed at two- to 11-year-olds. Cost is $13 per child plus gratuity.
  
• Fun ’Til One – this action-packed night caters to six- to eight-year-olds and takes place from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Cost is $20 per child plus gratuity.
  
• Fun at Sea…’Til 3:00 – aimed at kids ages nine to 11, this late-night extravaganza offers activities throughout the ship and runs from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Participants are escorted to their staterooms after the party. Cost is $33 per child plus gratuity.
  

I have been on four sailings this year and it's been open until 245 am every sailing - when I went to guest services to complain they said they changed it fleet wide 6 months ago --which couldn't possibly be true since I had just sailed in June on pride with my daughter - but anyhow I emailed carnival when I got home and they said the same thing - 1 am for all

Did you happen to notice the name of the casino host on the breeze while you were in the slot tournament?

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I had won 2 seats for the tournament and decided it wasn't worth the price they were asking to book, so I passed on it. It sounds like I made the right decision. Sorry it didn't work out so well for you. I appreciate your honesty.

Did you happen to notice the name of the casino host on the breeze while you were in the slot tournament?

Next years is on the dream from New Orleans - may 27 2015 - hope I'm there too ! But with my hubby !!!
