Hello all!

I will be cruising on the Carnival Magic on July 8 and just discovered I will have to take an exam for an online class while on the cruise. I am considering purchasing the premium internet package. Can anyone attest to the quality on board with this package? Does it matter if I use the internet on port days or at sea? Thanks so much in advance! I am freaking out right now!

I agree with the idea of checking on the Carnival board.

Nobody is going to be able to guarantee your connection will be patent throughout your test, as the connection is via satellite. However, being on line while at dock increases changes of solid connection some.

Or, if you are in port that day, you could do a little research, and find wireless or an Internet cafe.

Katie, please remember there is always risk when using the internet on a ship.

You might want to have a back up plan when in port.

See if you can find places that would provide wifi capabilities in a port just to be on the safe side.
