sunnyjw Posted March 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2014 We booked a cruise on the Celebrity Solstice in rooms 1215/1217 (next door to each other) and wanted to make sure that we can open up the balcony between the two. I had heard that for some reason these two balconies didn't open all the way due to something impeding this. Does anybody have any information on this? Thanks! Rare Essiesmom Posted March 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Have you been to the Celebrity board here at CC? they have a sticky where people have reviewed their cabins on S class ships. EM
sunnyjw Posted March 20, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Yes, I have been on the sticky board and looked at the google spreadsheet where the cabins are reviewed. Nobody mentioned the balcony situation though. Thank you for the suggestion. I had read on another thread the issue with the balconies, but can't find anywhere else that this was mentioned. Thanks again!
awhfy Posted September 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2014 You can have your room steward open the divider (opens about 2-2-1/2 feet) when you get on board as long as both cabins agree. This is only on a Solstice class ships. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Srmx14 Posted October 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Hi Sunnyjw - I have booked the same room - did the balconies connect?
