Celebrity Solstice, room 1215/1217

We booked a cruise on the Celebrity Solstice in rooms 1215/1217 (next door to each other) and wanted to make sure that we can open up the balcony between the two. I had heard that for some reason these two balconies didn't open all the way due to something impeding this. Does anybody have any information on this? Thanks!

Yes, I have been on the sticky board and looked at the google spreadsheet where the cabins are reviewed. Nobody mentioned the balcony situation though. Thank you for the suggestion. I had read on another thread the issue with the balconies, but can't find anywhere else that this was mentioned. Thanks again!

You can have your room steward open the divider (opens about 2-2-1/2 feet) when you get on board as long as both cabins agree. This is only on a Solstice class ships.
