HMC Butler Service Upgrade

Was wondering if anyone has recent experience with the private cabana butler service upgrade? What was your experience.

March 2014 on Nieuw Amsterdam. We had a Villa for 8. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Twice in February on the Noordam. No doubt, DW is already talking about "next time has to have a Butler".

Try it once, you'll want to have it all the time.

If you consume alcohol, it includes unlimited rail drinks, beer and wine.

This special service upgrade is available to those guests who have purchased a Half Moon Cay Private Cabana Package. The Butler Service Upgrade Package includes:

- Unlimited beverages available from the various bars on Half Moon Cay. Drinks made from house brand liquor, all beers, soft drinks, bottled water and wine.

- A picnic lunch consisting of appetizer, entree, and dessert.

- Butler escort from your cabin to assist you ashore carrying all belongings to and from the ship.

- Your Butler will see to whatever needs you have on the island including shopping from the island shops and any Shore Excursions bookings you may like to make on Half Moon Cay.

The Butler Service Upgrade Package price is applicable for up to 4 guests. For groups of more than 4 guests, each additional guest must purchase an Extra Person Surcharge for the Butler Service Upgrade.

In response to your question about the lunch, it is a specially prepared meal from the Pinnacle Grille. You will be asked to make your choices prior to arriving at HMC.

Was the Butler helpful in getting our drinks???? Well, for some reason, neither DW's, nor my glass was ever empty. Is that helpful?

The "picnic" is a wonderful, advertised as 3 course, but I think their math is off (more like 4, or perhaps 5 course) lunch. Hard to find anything wrong with that....
