KDarlo Posted November 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2015 My boyfriend and I are planning on a cruise on the NCL Jade in cabin 11500. I've been reading around but wondered if anyone has stayed in this forward portside cabin and could help with the following. Big thanks in advance😀 1) is this a glass-fronted balcony? I'd be gutted if it was an enclosed metal one. Does anyone have any pics? 2) a few people have mentioned the forward cabins are windy at sea. I know this isn't right on the front of the ship but if it's the glass fronted one I think it is, it does have a sort of split window on the right panel side. Does this make much difference to how windy it is compared to the one next door - 11502? 3) the spinnaker bar is two floors up and the viewing room just along. If anyone's stayed in this cabin on the Jade or one of her sister ships I'd love to know how you found both the noise - or hopefully lack of it - and whether the balcony was windy. Massive thank you in advance. K
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2015 You may want to ask about this on the NCL Cruise Line Board. Keith

Annabanana1234 Posted January 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2016 I stayed on the jewel in room 11518 which is a two family suite and the balcony had a glass safety not metal, it wasn't windy at all but we sailed in April. I hope that helps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
