New booking confirmation email

We made a booking today, around 12 noon EDT and when the booking was complete we were told to look out for a confirmation email, well it's now 6:50pm and still No email confirmation, is this normal?

We never got one either and had to call to get our confirmation. It was missing the promised credits so we had to call again to get those.

The website is particularly unfriendly to work with. It all seems to work much better if you call. They answer quite quickly, you get a dedicated rep, they check you have lowest available price and any extras, send confirmations instantly, etc. Final payment is only by phone or through your own TA anyway. It seems old school, but works. Have a good trip.
