Celebrity beach break

Has anyone been on the Celebrity beach break tour? It goes to Accra beach. We were hoping for a nice beach, a drink and an umbrella. I read one review that said that the tour had horrible seats and it was not a good location:confused:

Never took a ship's tour here. You can easily get a taxi/van right at the pier. They fill fast depending on where you want to go. We went to Harbor Lights and I believe the fare was $8 pp one way. We paid $20 for two loungers and an umbrella.

Accra / Rockley is a nice beach. There's a beach bar at the south end (Tiki Bar) and if you like swimming with turtles, they can often be found at the man-made reef about 150 yards straight out from the bar.

You should have no trouble finding a cab to take you there...

If they take you to the tiki bar section of the beach..those lounges are not very good. Go on your own and pick out your own lounge...we paid $10 us for 2 lounges and an umbrella...plenty of places for beverages. Right now there has been some seaweed at Accra/rock let beach...not terrible, but it's there.
