how to arrange return taxi

Hi,

If I arrange round trip taxi, I won't pay the driver until the return trip, is this usually the case?

If I take a taxi to a beach, and ask the driver to pick me up for return trip, do they usually show up on time? If they don't, what are my options? Will there be plenty of taxi on the road?

Generally speaking, if you arrange for a driver for a return trio, you pay on the return. And yes, they ate usually there on time, early in fact in most cases as you're likely their only fare for the day. Depending on which beach, there may or may not be readily available taxis in the unlikely event your driver does not return. If in Rodney Bay, there will be lots of taxi options for reurn. Other beaches are a bit more isolated, so options are less. If near a hotel and your taxi doesn't return, you can ask the hotel to call you one. It's very rare though for a driver to not return for their fare - they wanted get paid, and notes a negative reputation!
