Anyone have any experience with OBC from Carnival Mastercard?

I have $500 worth of OBC from cashing in points from my Carnival MasterCard. I have the print out that it was redeemed, but am nervous because it doesn't show up anywhere on my invoice from the cruise docs that I printed.

i redeemed 100 for my last cruise.. it will show up on your sail and sign account either on the first or second day.. they also leave you a bon voyage slip stating that the credit has been applied to your account.

Yes, redeemed on site and printed the confirmation that I did.

Like cruisin said I took the obc from the card also in June and it appeared on the 2nd day along with a letter in my cabin stating just that.

Yes. Previous posters are correct. Just print all docs from Carnival and Barclay and have them with you onboard. Guest Services won't do anything for you if you have a claim for a discrepancy for which you have no documentation.

Its too late now that you redeemed, but going forward never take OBC, charge the full amount to your Carnival CC, then a month later, go on and have them apply the dollar value to your Barclay account for a carnival charge. It will be treated as a payment.

The benefit is you will get the double points for charging the full amount with carnival and still get to use the reward. By having them move it before the trip you loose 100 easy points. I do the same when they offer discounted gift cards, charge it, and get double points you come out with even more savings by using the Carnival card.

good advise. used to do the same. Stopped using the card as their are now much better rewards programs out there now.
