spunks Posted July 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2017 Does anyone know where to look to find which berth one's ship will be located for a cruise departing in October?
euro cruiser Posted July 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2017 I don't think so, even the port calendar doesn't list them: http://www.vtp.it/calendario-approdi/ Are you trying to understand the specific berth (as in this map: http://www.vtp.it/info-operatori/crociere/) or just whether you'll be at the main terminal or at San Basilio? wheezedr Posted July 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2017 Often times neither the cruise line nor the captain are aware of this until it is near time to berth. Seems odd as the port should know what is arriving but we have had cruises where the dock is changed a day or two before. Also have been tendered when we were supposed to dock, guess someone beat us to the punch or slipped the pilot a quick $20. HAH
spunks Posted July 28, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted July 28, 2017 ok....that was what I thought. I am trying to get any info available on the actual berth. It makes a big difference as to whether we just walk or take the shuttle from the people mover. Thanks Doug
