Does anyone know how much the cost would be to take a taxi to Hamilton after our morning visit to Horseshoe Bay? We'll then take the ferry back to Dockyard. Also, any nice places to eat lunch in Hamilton?

#7 bus going to Hamilton.

You would board it across the street from the entrance to Horseshoe Bay.

The transportation passes are good for both buses and ferries. There's no such thing as a ferry pass or a bus pass .

Just to piggy back, how or where do you obtain a transportation pass? How much are they and for how many trips. Thanks in advance!

If your ship is berthed at Royal Naval Dockyard they're sold when you exit the ship in the customs buildings at the pier.

Adult passes are $19, $31.50 and $44 respectively, for one, two and three day passes. For children ages 5 -15, passes are half price. Passes are good for an unlimited # of rides. Each person must have their own pass. Multi-day passes have to be used on consecutive days, so you can't use a two day pass on Wednesday and Friday, for example. Children under age 5 ride free. You can also buy tokens good for individual rides for $4.50 each.
