What are the best appetizers

Risotto at Giovanni's.

Loved the scallops at both.

It's been so long since I've been to Chops, I don't know if it's still on the menu, but they had an excellent crab cake.

Everything at Giovanni's, especially the mushroom risotto and beef carpaccio for appetizers, and the Maryland crab ravioli.

The biggest disappointment for me at Chops were the gruyere tater tots (which may be a side, not an appetizer, but the caution is warranted anyway). I had high hopes because gruyere is one of my favorite cheeses, but these were awful little puffy things.

I like all types of food

I like the shrimp cocktail at Chops.
