NOLA with kids

Will be spending three days post cruise in NOLA with a 7 year old and a 13 year old. What do you recommend to do there with them? We'll be staying at a French Quarter hotel with no vehicle.

The aquarium and maybe a ghost tour and a horse driven carriage ride. Airboat ride swamp tour. There is also a zoo.

My family, with our 5 boys, had a great time on the sternwheeler Natchez.

Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral were quaint and beautiful.

We enjoyed Audubon Park -- lovely, and great for running around (climbing trees, too...) There is also a zoo, butterfly garden and insectarium there.

We also very much enjoyed taking the trolley into the Garden District; the Botanical Gardens in City Park are there.

Also check out the Louisiana Children's Museum. :)

The WWll Museum is very well done, though perhaps your children are a bit young for it...
