cvskult Posted February 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2014 Has anyone ever done the Fun Beach Express, Sightseeing & Snorkel with Royal Caribbean? Does any one know what beach they go to? I really want to go to one of the further west end beaches but it would be nice to do an excursion.
bup1224 Posted February 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2014 We booked this excursion on our trip in September 2013. The beach was Blue Bay. We enjoyed the tour guide and the ride there. We had been to Curacao for a week in 2012 and loved the further West beaches and knew we did not want to go to Mambo beach, etc. We felt that this excursion worked for us - they do provide snorkel gear (masks and life vests if needed). We had lots of time after the excursion to explore Willemstad (we love Curacao). I hope this helps.

I was hopping to go to Porto Mari I think Blue bay is one of the closest west end beaches. Might just bite the bullet for a cab ride.
bup1224 Posted February 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2014 It was my first time snorkeling so I don't have anything to compare it to. However many others on our tour went further out in the water and said they saw alot more marine life further out.
kayehall Posted February 27, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Do you remember what company they used? Was the boat a cat or motor boat? Thanks
bup1224 Posted February 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2014 They took us to Blue Bay via bus not boat.

Adventure Navigator Posted December 1, 2018 #9 Share Posted December 1, 2018 I've been trying to do some research on this particular excursion and this thread popped up. I understand that this post is old, but this excursion is still being offered and before I book it I would like to know more about it, which is something Royal Caribbean fails to do. They don't even provide reviews on their excursions. Has anyone taking this excursion recently? What sightseeing highlights are seen on the west coast? I am interest in seeing the Boka Brown and Boka Pistol areas. Do you get out of the bus to view the areas and is Blue Bay still the beach they go to? I'm pretty sure Irie tours is the company hosting the tour based on the bus description, but what the buses look like is about it for the details that Royal Caribbean provides. Thanks in advance!!
