Travel documentation for toddler & infant?

Cruising in Nov. with my 2.5yr old and my 8 month old...what type of travel documentation is needed? It is a closed loop cruise - ports are Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Mexico.

Passport? Birth certificate?

BC is all that's needed...from the STATE...not the hospital!

If you are a U.S. citizen and cruising with both parents who are on the birth certificate, the certified birth certificate is the minimum requirement.

Which ship are you going on in November? We have a 16 month old and on the Carnival Breeze - 11/15/15 - Miami. Would be fun to get to know other parents on this ship! :)

A birth certificate is the minimum requirement for travel. Please utilize extra caution to ensure that you return to the ship on time, as you will need to apply for emergency passports for the children if you miss the ship or if there is a medical emergency which prevents you from reboarding in time since the children cannot fly internationally with just a birth certificate.

We just use our kids' birth certificates. Make sure they are originals with the seal, and not a copy

Are you cruising alone with them? If so, find out what forms the cruise line needs showing it is okay for you to cruise alone with the kids.

Father's notarized permission or court custody papers or something similar.
