Le Harve to Paris with luggage

We are thinking of ending our cruise at Le Havre and going into Paris for a few days rather than going back to Southhampton. What would be the best way to get to Paris from Le Havre?

You may want to see if there is a cruise transfer and what the cost of that is.

I would recommend hiring a car and taking the long route to Paris v. Loire Valley and Chartres. See some chateau and enjoy the countryside.

Otherwise the cheapest most comfortable way will be a train though baggage management is always an issue with trains.

We took Eurostar from London to Paris, and I believe we ordered on the Rail Europe website. It would take a little over 2 hours to get to Paris, and you would arrive at the Gare (Station) Saint Lazare. Since you have luggage it would be best to make no stops. (How much will you have?)

We arranged for a shuttle to our apartment through Viator.com.

Cruise Tours say they leave you in City Center for eith 3.5 or 5 hours on your own. What is City Center near? ;):confused:
