Help! What is there to walk to in Port Canaveral with 2 year old?

I was wondering if there is anything to do in Port Canaveral that we can walk to ? We are cruising with our 2 year old grand daughter and her parents n her mom doesn't want to bring the car seat! Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!

Sadly, nothing. The port is isolated by freeways and they don't allow foot traffic to get on it.

You could take a ship's excursion..they use a bus, so no car seats needed.

Cocoa Beach is fun our 2.5 yr old loved it and it was a 2 min walk from our hotel. Best Western.

Don't count on the ship not being crowded. We did stayed on board our last cruise that stopped at port Canaveral. I would say almost half the passengers stayed on board. The pool area was jammed!

There are cocoa beach shuttles when you get off if the ship.

Renting a car is also and option. All the major rental chains have shuttles from the pier to their local Port Canaveral outlets. They all offer car seats to rent as well. We rented a car for the day and a carseat. This was pre-cruise as we embarked at PC but it was a great decision as it allowed us to do a few things before our magical cruise began. Very easy to arrange.
