the cruise is on Posted August 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2016 If we purchase a drink package, and order a bottle of wine for dinner (I understand that bottled wine is only discounted), is it okay to share the wine with others at our table? Pavovsky Posted August 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2016 Yes. No problem with sharing and also note that they will seal a bottle and hold it for you to drink at lunch the next day or at the bar. Some others may clarify but I do not recall the advance price to be much cheaper than the price on board. The Rothschild Chilean red is definitely good value for the quality. Pavovsky Posted August 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2016 I did not know that star clippers now have drinks packages.
JOBAKE Posted August 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2016 We have been on several Clipper trips and I am not aware of any drinks packages. Drinks on the Clippers are reasonably priced. Also the Starclippers own Red and White wines are, for us at least, both nice and good value.

whatnot Posted September 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2016 What is the price of a drink package on Star Clippers? Is it the same for all ships? And what is included in the package?
Balloon Man Posted September 9, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 9, 2016 There are no drink packages. There are no high drink prices. There are no speciality restaurants. There is no dress code. There is no formality. There are no butlers. There are no wine waiters. There is quite good food. There is relaxation. And generally quite nice unpretentious fellow guests.
