MADflyer Posted July 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Hello Just trying to plan my own excursion in Palma. Where does Ncl epic dock? Does it dock in Porto Pi or somewhere else ? Epic is scheduled almost every week at : PONIENTE/PERAIRES (P140) Even the couple of times she is at P145 or P132, passengers still exit out of the same security area. MADflyer Posted July 13, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2015 There's only one real dock area for cruise ships in Palma. I have sailed in and out of Palma many times over the years and until this year always thought this to be the case. For passenger crowding relief and traffic control, they appear to have spread the ships across three main ports now. While PONIENTE/PERAIRES Terminal is the traditional cruise port, they are now frequently using DIQUE DEL OESTE for the RCL lines of Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara and Pullmantur and TUI along with AIDA among others. The RCI Explorer of the Seas is actually docking over in the city at MUELLES COMERCIALES on her two calls.
Elmartellama Posted July 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2015 There's a big cruise traffic increase this year, so they're using more space. Also the Allure of the Seas is bigger and needs a dedicated area. The Epic uses the closest terminal to city centre. Peraries / Estació Marítima.
