Port Transportation Frustration

:mad: Contacted cab co for transportation from Rocky Point Holiday Inn Express. Called Cab Plus no flat rate to port? Dispatcher indicated it would at least $30.00 "give or take". Called Blue One who told us our desired pick up time of 9:30 was "too early" and we did not want to go then. They said we did not want to go until 11:00....... DH assured them we have cruised many times and we know what we want. There is a regular shuttle leaving from the hotel at 11 and I fear our 10:30 will not happen. We have not cruised out of tampa for a few years the Holiday Inn no longer has their own shuttle Blue One does their airport pick ups now.

Ask the hotel to arrange for the taxi - they will know who to call. The $30 on the meter estimate is about right (the $25 flat rate fare only applies from the airport :(). If you want to leave early pay for the cab and leave when you want.
