Berlin to Amsterdam train or plane

Hello Everyone!

Need advice. We will be staying in Berlin pre cruise and our embarkation port is in Amsterdam. Im deciding on the best way, to get to Amsterdam the day before our cruise. I would like to come in the day before so as to have a short tour of the city. Im looking at either taking the train or going by budget air lines. What do you think?

Who wants to hang around airports when you could be looking at Germany and The Netherlands out of a trian window?!!!

Sometimes you can get a better offer via the Dutch http://www.nshispeed.nl/en railways. The earlier you book the better chance you have on cheap fares.
