Hapinowagain2 Posted August 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2004 Usually don't do laundry while on a cruise, but this time it might have to happen. We are going on a 10-day cruise and will be arriving the day before our cruise and staying a day later in Ft. Lauderdale. We are on the Baja deck. Is there a laundry room on that deck? Casey12 Posted August 26, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2004 We always do laundry on board on longer cruises. It is pretty convenient.
kkorman Posted August 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2004 There is one on Baja as well. I used it on one of my trips when I stayed on that deck.
sue d. miller Posted August 26, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2004 Thanks, KKorman. I looked at Baja, and I saw a spot that I thought might be it, but I couldn't read it and didn't want to lie!! Tough to get old!! :D
LARGIN Posted August 26, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 26, 2004 Sue. It is also a buck a pop for the washer, dryer and soap..
sue d. miller Posted August 26, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 26, 2004 And worth it if you are running out of clothes. Of course I never would, what with the steamer trunk and all....
crusinsusan Posted August 26, 2004 #8 Share Posted August 26, 2004 It is on the very back of the ship on the Coral. I used it when we did a land tour and cruise on Coral last year. About 4 or 5 washers and dryers. Took about 45 minutes for each. Enjoy your cruise. Susan :o
kkorman Posted August 27, 2004 #9 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Also, they only had tide detergent when I was there and I have sensitive skin and could not use it, so be sure to take some detergent if you are like me in this case.
llund Posted August 27, 2004 #10 Share Posted August 27, 2004 When will you be on the Coral?
Hapinowagain2 Posted August 27, 2004 Author #11 Share Posted August 27, 2004 We will be on the Coral on December 10.
gatour Posted August 27, 2004 #12 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Hint, if you are thinking about taking your own detergent, buy some of the tablets instead of the normal loose stuff. Two tablets are in each plastic pouch. To me, easier to transport than trying to put the normal detergent I use in ziplock bags. We will be on the Coral for New Year's and am planning on doing laundry partway through the cruise.
llund Posted August 28, 2004 #13 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Too bad you aren't on the Dec. 28th cruise. Gatour and I are not getting much response to our roll call!
babets Posted August 28, 2004 #14 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Hapin, we are also going on the Dec. 10 cruise to Panama Canal on the Coral. We are also on the Baja Deck, interior room. Can't wait!
