Playa Mia? Book Ahead?

We will be in Cozumel on 1/9 and are thinking of going to Playa Mia since we have a 4 and 9 year old who will be with us. Is there any compelling reason to book ahead of time? We are planning on grabbing a taxi and heading over on our own. Usually I am compulsive about booking ahead, but I'm just not right now... I can't explain it.

If you are paying with a credit card, I wonder if you could avoid paying the international fees?

The only guaranteed way I know of to avoid paying international credit card fees is to keep the card in the safe on the ship and use cash.

JohninDC - totally agree. But if we can pay for the ticket price in advance, avoid paying the international credit card fee (possible - not sure?) and not have to carry an additional $200 around in cash, I think it is worth paying in advance on your credit card.
