What to do in Tampa evening before cruise?

DH, DD (14) and I fly into Tampa about 2pm the day before our cruise in February. Any suggestions on what to do in Tampa that evening? We won't have a car and haven't made a hotel reservation yet so can reserve something nearby a specific are if we can think of something to do.

Dinner and drinks in Ybor City would be fun.

If you just want to relax and enjoy a waterfront hotel, the Best Western Bay Harbor Hotel on Rocky Point, just started offering a cruise pkg. The hotel overlooks the bay and has a Hulk Hogan restaurant and gift shop adjacent to the hotel. If the weather is good, they also rent water toys etc...... The rooms have a balcony, so for the little extra, a bay view would be worth it just to view the sunset and sunrise. The hotel is about a 15 min shuttle ride to/from the port.

Also....... some of the downtown Tampa hotels are on the trolley line. That makes it easy to visit the Aquarium, and Ybor City and a few other places.

Here is a link to the downtown Tampa hotels. Just to give you an idea, the Tampa Marriott Waterside would be the closest to the Port of Tampa, which is just across from the Aquarium.
