lovecats45 Posted September 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2009 :confused:We are traveling on the Equionex in April 2010 doing a back to back. When we trveled on Holland America they had a laundry bag that you could fill and have washed for a set price. So far I have not been able to find any thing about a laundry service like this on Celebrity. This is our first time sailing with Celebrity so I'm not sure what kind of progrm they have. Does any one know if Celebrity has a laundry program? Sandy
aquatot11 Posted September 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2009 They usually have a "Stuff the Laundry bag" deal near the end of the cruise. It is wash, dry, fold. It's about $20. Charlie
hajekfam Posted September 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2009 The price was around $30 for a bag back in 2007. That price was for the stuff a bag that was offered to all passengers on the next to last full day of the cruise - you got your laundry back on the last full day (it was a extend your vacation - bring your clothes home clean special). The $20 or $15 bag was offered to Select and Elite Captain's Club members and could be done at anytime during the cruise.
A Sixth? Posted September 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Is there any self serve laundry on Celebrity? We're on the Millenium.

Guest maddycat Posted September 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2009 All Celebrity ships have laundry/dry cleaning/pressing services. Prices are comparable to those at home.
Hamburg Avon Lady Posted September 12, 2009 #7 Share Posted September 12, 2009 ;) Be sure to ask your cabin steward to mark your laundry bag as a "B2B" -- you may get a discounted price.
meow! Posted September 12, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 12, 2009 Based on our memory of dry cleaning and laundry aboard the Century in May last year, the ship's price is very reasonable, no more expensive than on land, and in fact a lot cheaper than in many hotels on land. weliketocruise86 Posted September 12, 2009 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2009 It is $35 for the laundry for as much as you can get in the paper bag.
angelpug Posted September 12, 2009 #10 Share Posted September 12, 2009 It is $35 for the laundry for as much as you can get in the paper bag. If this is the price in November on the Mercury..then this will be a STEAL for us! When we were on the Grandeur of the Seas in Nov. 2007, we paid close to $80.00 for one bag stuffed full! We always do laundry once halfway through our cruise...we do mainly 12-14 day cruises, and still like to pack for a 7 day! We LOVE the ship's laundry services!:D Take Care, Jaime
lovecats45 Posted September 17, 2009 Author #11 Share Posted September 17, 2009 :)Thanks everyone for your response to the laundry questions. Still not real sure what to expect. Hopefully there is a set bag price. Not the $80.00 one though. That is a little much. Will enjoy our cruise what ever we do. Hubby said we could just wash clothes and hang them over the balcony. As the EASY button says "I don't think so". can't wait to start crusing:cool::cool: Sandy

We got about $60 worth of laundry in the bag and with our Captain's club coupon, it only cost us $15. Because we did it during the cruise, we got the items back pressed and hanging. When we did a bag (even with our captain's club coupon) on the same day as the stuff a bag special for all passengers, the clothes came back laundered and folded - not pressed.
