A lot of the cruise and park hotels are coming up sold out already for next October? Is there anyone from the area that can confirm if there is some function going on? Seems weird this far out.

Perhaps the hotels do not have that package available at this time? I know that has happened to me when I have tried for book it so far ahead.

Two options for hotels:

1. Best Western on Dorsey Road - how far is it to the port on their shuttle?

or

2. Holiday Inn Express at the Stadium - I know this is closer but how was their shuttle service?

Not sure which one to go with.

Any opinions.

The 16th Baltimore Running Festival is happening October 21, 2017. That could be it. Though I must say that I've never heard of it, even though I live just outside Baltimore!

The 16th Baltimore Running Festival is happening October 21, 2017. That could be it. Though I must say that I've never heard of it, even though I live just outside Baltimore!

That is the Baltimore Marathon 5k run and kids run it starts and ends at the stadium. I am surprised you never heard of it as it's all over the TV and newspaper and the race is broadcast live for many years now.

The run shouldn't affect hotels as most are runners who live in the area.
