paul06 Posted January 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Have never use this port before. We usually get to a port city the night before the departure and get a hotel room package the will keep our car for the duration of the cruise, and have a service to transport to and from the cruise port. So far, I have not found any at Fort Lauderdale. If there are none, I am entertaining the alternative of staying in a nearby city and taking advantage of discounted cruise parking for the 10 days of our cruise.. Anyone have any experience and tips on this? Appreciate it. Thanks Paul

Trainer Posted January 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 19, 2015 There are several parking lots that serve the cruise port and that are less expensive than the parking at the ship port. Personally, I always use Park N Fly (PNF.COM) as I have had many good experiences there. (If you go online, look for Port Everglades, NOT Fort Lauderdale as that will take you to airport parking.) They pick you up at your car, they load the luggage and drive you to your ship and they unload your luggage. Same deal returning. Nice service, a/c vans and good prices. If you google 'discount parking at Port Everglades" you will get several to choose from.

kimlovesfl Posted January 21, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I think most hotels there have park and cruise options. Try the Hyatt Pier 66, it's really nice and right by the port so you can watch the ships sailing in and out. We use United Airport Parking, which is the 3rd party at the Embassy Suites, also very close. They were by far cheaper than Park n Fly, but about $20 for 5 nights, even with a AAA discount. Free shuttle, and when we arrived back in Port Everglades, we didn't even have to call for a shuttle because one was there waiting.
