Shogun Posted January 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Hi All Last year we stopped at Cadiz on Emerald Princess nice port been before, but docked at different location to last time, so messed up our plans to visit some shops we knew as well as parks etc, as we could just not work out where they were in relation to where we were, but not an issue just went to others. Well that was a few months ago, just worked out that the shops etc we wanted are in Vigo, so just this mean, I am getting old and confused, been on to many cruises, or was it just heat stroke as we are not used to sunshine,:) anyone else ever got there ports confused. yours Shogun

CruzR887 Posted January 5, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Hi Shogun, Here's my bit of befuddlement.... The first time we sailed out of Civitavecchia I could swear we took the train from Rome and while walking to the port saw and took pictures of the giant statue of a sailor kissing a nurse. The next time we were there we left the port to walk to the train station and...no statue! Did they remove it? Don't know. Am I losing it...? There is evidence... Cheers, Rod
Trainer Posted January 5, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2016 We have a giant statue of a sailor kissing a nurse in Sarasota FL. It is right near the small port off the Gulf of Mexico. Any chance you've mixed up your countries?
