Antigua hit hard by Gonzalo

saw video of hotel that suffered a lot of damage. It might affect some cruise stops there.

wish there were more first hand reports. Such a beautiful island and we will be heading back there in March.

The only good thing is no lives were lost in Antigua, one life was lost though in St. Martin. So sad for these islands being hit with these hurricanes.

Tropical Storm Gonzalo passed nearby to Antigua and then developed into a Hurricane. Antigua seems to have faired quite well all considering and the residents on St. Maarten have been busy since Tuesday morning cleaning up from the hurricane. Resilient people living on these beautiful little islands.:) so looking forward to our winter vacation in Antigua.

We'll be visiting Antigua for the 1st time in 3 weeks! So thankful everyone is ok there! Tt is the only port that we planned a beach day, I hope the beaches are ok!

I was just there last week. Although our driver pointed out some areas with damage we would not have noticed if he hadn't. Touristy areas are operating fine.
