Explorer

We froze on the discoverer-and that was in the tropics. Are we going to have the same problem on the explorer? The dining room on the discoverer was sometimes so cold that they provided blankets for us.

We were on the Explorer in December in Antarctica and were plenty warm, on the ship at least.

Have been on explorer for 3 different cruises, 2 in the arctic, one in Japan and the Mariana islands. Never felt cold onboard, and I am a person who gets cold easily.

Currently on the Explorer in South Georgia. You need parka AND blanket if you dine at Hot Rocks! However, that location is closed for a few days so that the lights do not distract the birds. Inside is warm as toast.

That is good to hear- we had to wear parkas and blankets in the dining room!
